Smith Frederick Ellis Smith died March 31, 2014, in Portland, Ore., following a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 63. There will be no service. Memorial donations can be made to a hospice, the Southwest Washington Humane Society or a charity of choice. Patricia K. Nystrom Patricia K. Nystrom died March 22, 2014, in Washougal. She was 91. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 3, at 11 a.m., at Washougal United Methodist Church. Burial will be private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
